Was my wearing a fifty percent cotton shirt the other day (Deuteronomy 22:11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.) as bad as Adolf Hitler's genocide?

Just wondering if I should call the Hague and schedule my war crimes trial.

P.S. Don't tell me that it doesn't count if it's in the old testament, if God is perfect, his rules can't be obsolete. Plus the New Testament says that every last bit of the old testament is still in effect (Mat 5:18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.)

Thank you. I was looking for the answer to this question because it comes up frequently.

The answer is in the verse just before the one you posted. Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Jesus fulfilled all the law and the prophets at the cross.

Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Jesus said that those who love him will obey his commandments. However we don't obey him because we are bound by the law but by our love for him.

I'm afraid that you don't understand scripture very well... that's not what Mat 5:18 means... also Deut 22:11 is a ceremonial law given to the Isrealites for cultural reasons mainly for cleanliness... it's doesn't apply to us today...

At anyrate... yes all sin is equal in God's eyes... sin is sin... If you have sined once you are guilty of all sin...
