After the death of Jimmy Carter the flag goes down, i understand, but it's been way too long, Why is it still down?

Jimmy Carter didn't die, it was Gerald Ford, and the 30 day half-mast flag time isn't over yet for that.

Bush said that the flag will be at half mast for 30 days. im not sure from which day to which day but it should be soon that the flags will go back up. Im not sure most people got the memmo cause there are quiet a few business here in Texas that didn't put there flags at half mast.

I heard it's supposed to stay half-staff for a month but I've seen many areas already put theirs back up.

i heard it is supposed to stay like that for a month following a president's death. should go back up in a few days.
