i live in meatirie louisiana also and another question pomegrante?are they like hard to get the juice out of?

You can buy rhubarb stalks in grocery stores during the summer. Ask the vegetable section manager about availability. They don't sell them with the leaves on them because the leaves are poisonous. My grandma used to cook up rhubarb and it was amazing! Tart and we got to load as much sugar as we wanted on it. It was very, very good! And now you have me craving it again.

Pomegranate juice is another story. I just buy the juice in a bottle. I will look for the name and get right back...
Well, I can't find my juice bottle, but it is available from several companies, and also as Grenadine, a syrup used in drinks.

usually (around my area atleast) the large chains of grocery stores have them, and also markets, and there is this huge fruit stand that is up some of the year, they have rhubarb. i would think that any local grocery stores would have

I HAVE ONLY ATE RHUBARB IN A PIE ONCE BUT I'VE SEEN IT AT PRODUCE STANDS AND FRUIT STANDS QUITE A FEW TIMES IN FLORIDA WHERE I'M FROM ,. I'M SURE YOUR BOUND TO FIND IT AT SOME PRODUCE STAND IN LOUISIANA GOOD LUCK

your best bet....freezer section (llike next to frozen strawberries and frozen blueberries) at Super Walmart
