I don't believe in reincarnation, but I am genuinely curious about this. Have you ever known anyone to claim they were either a prostitute, a murderer or a slave owner in a past life?

Yes I did know someone who said they thought they were a prostitute in a former life...Never would've guessed it either as it was someone with almost puritanical ideas about sex....

Theoretically, if they believe they were reincarnated, they wouldn't have been eligible for reincarnation as a human if they were a prostitute, a murderer, or a slave owner, at least not according to the Buddhist philosophy.
It has to do with kharma, and the theory is that being human is a "good gig". Therefore, they would have had to live a good life before to be human again.

no, becuase reincarnation isn't real. there is more "life" now than before, where did all the extra souls come from? also, reincarnation is supposed to rid of selfish desires, yet the world is way worse today than it ever was.
