I don't know ... but how many would they need to get protection? Where's the cut-off?

Can we continue with NON-embryonic stem cell research without all the politically correct promotion of abortion and cloning?
A limited number of embryos HAVE been released for research purposes. Can we wait until the results on those studies are in before you relegate female productive organs, fetuses and embryos to lab rat status?

How many cells do you need before it DOES require protection? 151?, 1,000?, a billion?
I'll agree that a 150 cell embryo may not be human, but until it can be defined what cell count is human, I'm going to error on the side of protecting that life. It's the only ethical thing to do.
And I'm an atheist, if that matters.

Its not. Its just a thing. And those people that claim an embryo has the chance of creating the vaccine for aids are forgetting that it also has the chance to create the world killer virus.
They can't justify it with anything but the bible. And even then, if its ok for god to murder all those fully formed and living male children in exodus, why would it be wrong to end an embryo before its ever remotely approached living?
It takes more than a beating heart to be alive.

Well, it is a human life technically. Wiccans can perform abortions using magic, so there's no trauma to the mother. I've done several. I just do a visualization ritual, and the fetus aborts in about 3 or 4 days. That's all.
I've read were Alex Sanders could absorb the spirits into his own, because he felt obligated in What Witches Do, but I haven't been able to do that yet.

Your statistics are not correct. A young child has 10,000 trillion synapses, not the embryo

because "we" were once that 150 celled embryo. that embryo has the capacity to grow into a full fledged human being and deserves to be protected. Even though it is its infancy stages, the embryo is still a human being that is forming.

So that makes it less human? A human is a human no matter how many cells they have...
Who gave you the right to not allow that fetus the freedom to grow and develop?
