Ive beent to Marine recruit training, well first off its was the hardest thing I ever did in my life. The reason it was so hard was because I was away from my family for so long with no phone calls and only letters for 13 weeks. Drill instructors are scary as ever when you first meet them they can shrink you down to the size of a pea even if your six feet and they happen to stand at 5ft1. The amount of physical work that you do is fair, nothing is impossible, sometimes it just feels like that. The amount of mental stress that is being handed to you and the amound of cooperation that you have to have with your platoon is important. We got to run a lot , push ups sit ups, getting quaterdecked a lot, lots of cool things like the obstacle coarses, swim qual, drill, riffle range, crusible. And we even had classes on Marine values.

Which branch's boot camp are you asking about? There is a huge difference between say, the Airforce and the Marines.
