i Have bought songs from the Itunes store, and i am able to listen to them on my desktop, but when i disconnect my Ipod they songs will not play. Whenever the songs is next in the playlist, it is skipped.

make sure the is check. and also you need to plug in your ipod and update it, then it will add to your ipod. just for it say ipod updating is complete, shouldn't take too long.

You could manually sync the ipod, maybe it needs that extra step. In the righthand column, look for "(your name)'s ipod". Right click it and choose "sync". Then make sure you don't disconnect until after you right-click again and choose "eject" then watch your ipod screen to make sure it lights up and says it's ok to disconnect.

If that doesn't help, maybe the ipod is full?

They are in your library, under music.

under Itunes store, somewhere there is a spot to click on that says purchased music.
