Convert the CD tracks to MP3 format. Most new CD players (even in a car stereo) will play the MP3 format.
At 128bps you can easily put 150 songs on a single CD.

You can't! A CD can only hold 700 Mb, or 80 minutes of anything. Obviously, 100 songs is going to be much more than 700 Mb, or 80 minutes. Get a DVD burner, but you still won't be able to put 100 songs on a DVD.

you can put them as mp3 format and you might be able to fit about 160 of them, any software will do nero, roxio, burn it as a data cd or a mp3 cd there's really not much difference if all you want is to fit more than 100 songs in the cd

you need to get an MP3 cd software and an MP3 cd player however if i were you id go buy a cheap mp3 players you can get a pretty good one for about $50 that can hold plenty of music

use dbpoweramp software and compress them by keep song's bitrate at 92kbps
