There is the guy and he does think of me on the holidays and always responds to my calls and text messages. He does seem happy to hear from me. Well anyway he was suppose to come over to my house this weekend for some cookies I baked him, that he said he would like if I made, but he never showed up. Sometimes I feel maybe he doesn't like me, but why would he always answer my calls and text messages, but he didn't show up this weekend. What should I think?

PERSONALLY... he wouldnt hear from me.
He would need to call and offer a sincere apology.
Then he could bake me some cookies...maybe I'd show up...maybe I wouldnt ??? lol

What you should think is that he's a flake. Don't wait around for people who don't call and don't show up when they say they will unless they have a really good reason, and it's not a habit. If you let people treat you that way, they'll continue to do it. He doesn't care about you very much if he didn't bother to show up. Get rid of him and find someone who treats you better.

maybe he is too polite to refuse the messages and just does not want to put the effort into coming over

Talk to him. Ask him why. Don't jump to any conclusions. Maybe something happened.

I think he's not the real deal... he has you fooled, or maybe something serious came up.
