You need to have a vet visit to set up surgery. They should have dropped at least 7 months ago. The dog is probably sterile but, is at a higher risk of cancer.

Hi!!
If you can find both testicles and they are both the same size, there is no reason to worry about their small size at this time. There is a lot of variation in testicle size and very small puppies do often have very small testicles. If the testicles are different in size it would be best to mention this to your vet during the next visit. When one testicle has a tumor that is producing excessive amount of hormones it will often cause the other testicle to
decrease in size.

Also abnormally small testicles, indicating the possibility of disease or chicanery

If you wasn't thinking about breeding...please get the surgical removal of the testicles. The ideal time for neutering the male dog is between 5 and 7 months of age. Neutering at this age ensures youthful good health and reduces the chance of surgical complications, as the testicles are still small and relatively easy to surgically remove.

My puppies' testicles have usually dropped by about 6 weeks. At 10 months, if you dog's testicles haven't appeared yet then they will not come down and must be surgically removed. You need to do this because retained testicles are at a much higher risk for cancer.

Retained testicles have a genetic factor, so dogs with this trait should not be bred.

Take him to the vet or call the vet immediately.

Most of the time you schedule neutering at 6 months of age--where the testicles are removed. His definitely should have descended by now.
