Well, you can tell her that my husband had to have gum grafts done because his tongue ring destroyed his gums around the back of his bottom front teeth (he had perfectly healthy gums and teeth otherwise).
You can also tell her that my brother broke his front tooth from his.
Or that my friend had hers done by someone that had not been doing it for very long and her tongue bled for three days straight and because he hit and she ended up having to get it cauterized.

Or you could just let her learn her lesson herself, which is what you are probably going to have to do.

Point out that a tongue ring chips off the enamel on your front teeth until you have to go get them replaced, and the dentist never gets the color quite right on the caps.

tell her it gives you stink breath. I mean many people are getting it nowadays and many guys like it. You can go research online and find the effects of getting a tongue ring and show it to her. But from friends i heard that it gives you bad breath.

I don't think you can, even if you show her pictures of piercings gone wrong. If you are her parent, and you don't want her to do it, then you could always try that old technique of putting your foot down :)

Convine her:
-show her pictures of ugly people with it
-Say people dont get turned on by it or you dont get turned on by it
-Say it is bad because it can be infectious.
-Say it will hurt and food could get stuck or it can fade from food
-Say it affects her eating
-Give her consequences but tell her its because you dont want her to do it and you care for her that way.

- infected piercings
- people with piercings who are now old, and it doesn't look so good

i have my tounge ring pierced!!! it's ******* hot u'll love it!!! i haven't used it for *anything* yet im to young and i know better but hey its so sexy i love mine and i know she'll love hers dont u want her to be happy?
