I've met mom's in their 80's, still worried about their 60 year old kids.. Don't know if it ever stops! Don't know if you have a certain faith based system, but praying to someone who is mightier than us certainly helped me!

You never stop worrying about your kids but you have to learn to stand back and hope that everything you have taught them as they were growing up is enough to get them through. They have to do it for themselves sometime. If you weren't here tomorrow, they would have to cope. Don't cut your own life shorter than it has to be by worrying. Learn to let go - just a little at first. Don't call every day just maybe every 2nd or 3rd day. Just ease back a bit. Maybe if you don't see it, you won't worry so much.

Think about it this way - - - -
Does your worrying help him to be a healthier person?
What does your worrying accomplish?

Nothing. It won't change things.
Put your energy to better use - - - - like prayer. That will do him more good than your worrying.

I know you love him to pieces. It's hard not to think about his health all the time. Just pray that God will take care of him and give him wisdom about taking better care of himself.

When you say he is not healthy, what kind of health is he in?

If he doesn't want any help from anyone, then you need to leave him alone. If those are his wishes, there is nothing you can do, but to pray for him. He has to want to get help, you can't force him to do it.
