girdle for smaller waist?

has anyone used girdles that make your waist smaller? do they really work?

They can help, they certainly keep the flesh from jiggling around. The moment they are off though, your waist is back to where it was before you put the thing on. A girdle, even the modern ones, are restricting and hot and ... well I would rather jiggle myself! But that is just me. Some have whalebones but most today are constructed from softer fabrics. That girdles really do is help your clothing fit more smoothly, more flatteringly. Many slim women wear them just to properly shape their tummies and bottoms for their clothing.

Many very chic stars today still use them. The woman on this site, Dita Von Teese, does burlesque in the elegant way of the 40's and still wears the old fashioned types. Enjoy! She frequently wins international awards for her absolutely amazing clothing, all helped by her amazing girdles!

I haven't used a girdle, but I've used a whale boned corset, and they work miracles. The girls of old actually did know a thing or two...just don't break any ribs on purpose like they used to do to get their waists smaller. Check out this site. They make incredible corsets in San Francisco.

i wear girdles all the time. they work well! they just push everything in, they are very tight. and may be difficult to put on. i am used to them. i get like 2 sizes smaller too, i think it makes me look mush slimmer, but they are hard to put on. maybe try a corset, those work well also. i use those sometimes.
