It works with your Internet Service Provider. It is free & comes on your computer system. They will walk you through the settings right on the phone if you call them. It is pretty good I've been using it for years. Send photos, emails & attachments.

If you have ever clicked on a email link and you were sent to outlook, it would be convient if it was set up so you could send an email that way, yes?
Now, outlook allows you to read and write email offline and send and receive them as you wish. Just make sure that if you want to keep them on the server (yahoo, AOL) that you select that setting in outlook, otherwise they will be stored on your computer and deleted from the host server.
It will also keep your schedule and sync with a PDA.
Good luck

Outlook express is a cheap watered down version of MS Outlook, it typically is used for pop3, imap email. Where it downloads email from an email server that has several email boxes on it. It's not made to handle high amounts of emails, so be careful when going beyond 1GB.
