hot citrus juice!cannot imagine the taste,but the Vitamin C content will be drastically reduced if not completely lost,flavour will change too.Many styles of cuisine call for the addition of lime or lemon juice,but juices i think are best drunk chilled.

heat does not destroy the flavor of citric acid, however it alters it. Sauce maltaise is a blood orange hollandaise and is very good and Duck goes well with orange. and Lemons!!! I am a chef and i put a squeeze of fresh lemon in a lot of my sauces and soups.
lemon butter sauce, lemon with fish..etc

That's a great question! I think I will try it and see. I can't imagine it being bad because I've had an orange flavored tea before and it was terrific.

if any citrus item or fruit is put into heat..it will loose its flavor. thats the whole part of citric acid

heating up just-squeezed orange juice is nice! but otherwise, i see why you shouldnt!
