I can see how tough that is. But you deserve to have it most likely. Tell them your reasons and you respect their opnions but you just really want to. Ask for it for your birthday, most likely they'll say no. Just say "Mom, Dad, I respect your opnions but I have my own and I feel strongly about getting my eyebrows pierced." I had my ears pierced when I was around ten.

Many people have gotten their tongues pierced and regretted it. Most do not keep them for any length of time, simply because they are unattractive and impractical. They also tend to cause the wearer to have what appears to be a slight speech impediment. At less than 16, you should appreciate the fact that your parents have even allowed you to have your belly button pierced and five ear holes. Perhaps your parents feel what you already have is excessive and they are drawing the line at a tongue piercing. Accept their decision. If you insist on an unsightly tongue piercing, wait until you are older and no longer living at home.

You may not think this to be so at you age (and, yes I know what I am talking about -- I was 14 once), but your parents are smarter than you think.

I have talked with many people who have had body art and piercings done to them when they were teenagers, and the majority of them have regretted it. Some of them have had medical problems from it. Yes, maybe a piercing would make you happy now, but will it make you happy in the future?

Let us take a good look at a few facts, here. Your parent's actual job is to love and nurture you and watch after your well-being, not give you everything you want. Parents who really love their children will think about how things like this might affect them in the years to come, not necessarily make them giddy with joy short-term.

The best advice I could give? Listen to what your parents say and obey them. They DO know what they are talking about and you might thank them one day for loving you enough to say no sometimes.

My daughter is also 14 and wants all kind of piercings. I drew the line at facial piercing, because of the risk of infection. You do NOT want one of those things to get infected because then you will have a horrible scar that will last a lifetime. Also, I am a pretty cool mom and know lot of people that have had facial piercing and wanted a job later in life. Jobs are hard to get if you are facially pierced. My friends had to take their rings and studs out if they wanted to work. We compromised, I let her get several pierces in her ears (cartilage too) and her belly button. Don't mess with your face, it can take you places later that a ring in your eyebrow can't.

seems like ur going through a phase. Do what u think is right. My parents didn't want me to my 2nd hole. I got it, and i don't even use it. they are christians too. U want to do what makes u happy, and maybe u'll regret it. but if ur parents are strongly against, i say respect them. bc then u'll regret it strongly and might end up doing hurtful things to them in the future. believe, its not that serious, its only a piercing. its not a sin, its just not a good "testimony". I mean, u won't go to hell or heaven w/ or w/out it. But u will change, and hopefully ur beliefs and respect for God won't.

Wait till you're 18. No parent wants to give permission for their child to mutilate their face. And if you do get facial piercings, take them out when you get older and have a job. The public doesn't like looking at those kinds of piercings. Why not just stick to ears or places on your body that nobody else has to look at?

You could ask them if you get straight A's or something they would bargain with you for the piercings.
