depends on your idea of abuse. i consider feeding animals "dad's" or "ole roy" is abuse cause that stuff is crap. its like being fed jail food everysingle day and not having a choice. people will lock their dogs in cages for more than 20 minutes at a time, and any time over 20 minutes causes mental stress and anxiety and frustration, i think that is abuse. i also think people dont realize they are abusing their pets, like by using "hartz" flea medication, last year there were 8000 deaths in cats and dogs from that stuff, so buying that stuff is abuse in a fatal way. then theres people who neglect their animals days at a time, beat them, freeze them in the cold weather...etc. this world is pitiful when it comes to treatment of any kind of animal not just cats and dogs. cows, horses, chickens, rabbits, chinchillas, pigs, reptiles, every animal is probably 98% of the time abused by their owners or manufateres, then theirs the 2% of the world that treat their animals right.

Too many. It is so sad. People who abuse kids and animals should have the same kind of abuse given back to them only 10 times worse.

Far too many. In some places they are used for food. It makes me cry to think about it. I'm going to hug my animals now.
