I've seen sites that let me enter my name and then it says they found so much in old accounts and savings accounts, but I dont think they are the real thing,because they ask a fee.

Or you can go to your states website. Most are something like;
wa.gove.com, ca.gov.com, tx.gov.com, or you can google it as your state's official website, keyword owed money, etc.
Chances are when you go to these sites, you're going to find out just how many people share your name. Look carefully for where you live and such. I'm not sure if the gov. sites will charge you to reveal the source and whereabouts of money being owed to you, but you can bet your sweet bippy that the others will.

Most States have an website of unclaimed funds. You can go to your State gov. website and try the Treasurers or State Comptroller. Just search your States website.
