For both my children...the day I gave birth & the 1st time it lasted a month, my 2nd time it lasted about 6 wks. After that i got it about 28 days later & my regular cycle continued. Everyone has different experiences. If you feel that whatever is happening in your case is not good, you should contact your doctor...they can advise what should be "normal" for your situation.

I was partially breastfeeding and bled for 3 month's straight after having my baby, it didn't stop until about 2 weeks after I totally stopped breastfeeding....AND THEN I got my 1st period...lol...but anyhow, my best friend got hers about 7-8 weeks after having her lil one and she did not breatsfeed at all.

I am not sure--but don't even think you can't get pregnant during that time. My best friend wasn't nursing and hadn't started her period and thought she couldn't get pregnant until her period started, but she did--and her first baby was only about 6 weeks old!

I got my period 2 months later, some get them right away, some take longer. All depends, we are all different.

AS SOON AS YOU HAVE A BABY YOU SHOULD GET YOUR PERIOD WHILE YOU ARE IN THE HOSPITAL THE SAME DAY YOU HAVE A BABY YOU SHOULD GET YOUR PERIOD AND IT MAY LAST FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS
