a girl and i, i thought, were going to get together but ended up with other people. i was really depressed a few weeks ago, bc i kept saying the wrong thing to her. and in general, depressed. and said that i needed time away from her, but i wrote a poem recently that i really wanted advice on, so i e-mailed and asked for advice and that if she had any writing, i'd like to read it. she said that she thought that i was going to send her 1 poem and that that would be it and signed her letter "until then, write later, meg" does this mean she does not want to be in contact with me? did i confuse her too much? should i just forget it?
did i mess up?

LOL, you got me really confused right there already. But hey buster, it looks like you just really miss her right? You were disappointed that you didn't get the girl you wanted. There's nothing wrong with that. Talk to her straight out; call her if you can. In person, whatever. Some kind of way where you won't have to wait for her response (like on an email), and tell her just how you feel about her. If you're not totally great with sweet-talking and all that, jot out your thoughts first, and touch on your main points. Tell her that you feel that you're always saying the wrong thing to her, and then make your real point. If she still wants to be with you/give you another chance, that's great. If she's with that new guy, respect that, and move on. It's always alright to be friends, if that ends up being the case, but take in mind that being friends with somebody that you have feelings for when they have romantic feelings for someone else can mess you up. You can't ever help the way you feel though, so don't ignore or try to change your feelings =]

I think she's just really busy but really confused. You need to be direct and say what you mean straight out. I think she still wants to talk if you can be less confusing.

Sounds like she moved and and I think you should too. I think the only reason you want her now is "cause you cant have her. She is not interested
