It could be caused by many things. I would call the vet and DO NOT give it anything without speaking with your vet first.

If your dog is not vaccinated, I am worried of the possibility of it being caused by parvovirus infection. However, parvo usually starts vomiting first before diarrhea. If she did not vomit first, then this is not parvo. There are other causes of diarrhea such as food intolerance, bacterial infection, parasites and food poisoning. But diarrhea with blood is something more serious because if it is severe the dog will be anemic. Well you said , there was only little blood so probably it can be a mild parvo, or a hookworm infection, or a trichuris infection . To confirm which of this is the culprit, you have to bring your chihuahua to the vet with some feces for fecal exam. For the food , you can give something which contains no fat like boiled breast of chicken (shredded) with rice and a pinch of salt. You need to give also an antibiotic because of the enteritis. Bring her to the vet so she can be treated properly. If you don't , the condition may worsen, and it will make her dehydrated, anemic and sick.

Sounds like she has worms (don't worry all puppies are born with them) i'd take a stool sample (her poo) and her to the vet where they can see if and what type of worms she may have... they'll then give her a dewormer which they should repeat in 3 weeks... thats just one thing it could be which is common in puppies... i would take it to the vet asap to make sure that its nothing more serious...

You need to take it to a vet. There could be something seriously wrong with it and it could die pretty quickly without help. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I have a Chi mix and it almost died from parvo cause I didn't know it was so sick.

it could be several things. things that only a vet that examines her can tell you. hold her off food tonight and get her into the vet in the morning. make sure she has access to water and she's drinking. it's very important to keep her hydrated, little dogs like this can become dehydrated very fast. good luck.

The most common cause of diarrhea is internal parasites or diet. A visit to your veterinarian is in order. Is your dog up to date on her vaccines?

Could be a number of things, parvo, worms, coccidia, giardia. Best to have her checked by your vet. Has she had her shots?
