already talked to dr. have an appt. this week. was put on librax for cramping....I had ileus in oct. and also pertitoneal cysts removed, but many remain...they wanted to make sure they werent cancer. results= neg. but no one wants to take out the remaining cysts--they think maybe pain is bowel related, but all bowel tests have been normal. Any one else have the same problems? what fixed things for you?

Ask the doc......It may depend on whether he removed any polyps or not.

I agree, you should call your doctor tomorrow morning. I have a colonoscopy done every three years because colon cancer has already robbed me of my mother and both her sister and brother. Did you have any polyps removed? The doctor may have been a bit too rough with the scope. You really shouldn't have painful discomfort after a week, in my opinion.

I had a colonoscopy a year ago and still get pain in the same area-left lower quadrant. My doctor tells me that I have IBS. I have to be careful of what I eat and keep "regular". If I don't, I get the pain. You should follow up with your doctor, and you have very right to get a second opinion.

Call your doctor tomorrow. You shouldn't be having any pain from the procedure from my experience.
