I eat fiber one cereal with low fat milk for breakfast...your body burns calories when you eat fiber because it's difficult to digest.
I eat a lot of non-fat yogurt because the calcium promotes calorie burning. I also eat baby carrots. I don't drink any beverages with calories (only diet soda and water).
I typically don't eat much after 4pm...if I do, just a little snack like lunch meat or string cheese. I went on this diet a few years ago and lost 10 pounds in a month and another 5 the next month.
Hope this helps!

actually I'm doing slim fast right now and I didn't start out wanting to diet I had to have some dental work done and couldn't really eat solid foods but then I found that they were really filling and I wasn't hungry as much... I drink a shake and eat a snack bar for breakfast, have a shake and a meal bar at lunch and a snack bar in the afternoon and then a sensible dinner... throughout the day I only have around 700 calories so as long as I eat a healthy dinner I still stay below 1700 calories a day and it provides all the vitamins you need for a day... I lost 7 lbs in 1 week and I'm still going strong... good luck...

I used spark people to change my diet and exercise habits. Lost 20 pounds in 4 months, then kept it off in maintenance mode. Plus, I'm a cheapskate, so the fact that it was free was a big plus for me.
Everyone is on a diet, they just might not be conscious of it.
Addressing fiber and diet... dietary fiber is actually not digestable. It provides bulk in your intestines, and helps your small intestine push waste matter along since it has something to push on. Forget about detox diets! Eat 25g of fiber per day, and you can't keep crap in your system. Litterally. The other fiber, soluable fiber can be absorbed into your system, and helps clean out the bad cholesterol out of your blood. Fiber is awesome!

I eat what I want, when I want, how I want. The word diet is not in my vocabulary. Of course I also walk several miles 4 times a week and do not pig out too late at night!!!
I am in my early 50's and wear a perfect size 12.

I'm on the Dr. Jenkins Diet. It consists of chowing down all day until you can't eat anymore. Then basically you get sick. So far it's worked well, ... I've only gained 30 pounds this month. Good luck!!
Glad I could help.

This diet is not a diet but healthy eating. It keeps me at my ideal weight.

Diets won't do it. It's called a life style change. Change your eating habits, like half size portion. Don't eat sugary foods or candy, don't drink sodas. Eat more salads, veggies, fruits, cereals and lean meats. You will loose weight for sure.
