Protein helps repair cells/tissue. Like others said, the body craves what it needs. It won't cure the cancer, but it can help with some of the damage when the body is healing.

Im not sure in general but I know when my daughter took steroids as part of her treatment she craved foods high in protein!!!

my mothers dr told her she needed a lot of protien to build her up for surgery they told my husband the same thing..

i don't know if this is true but i was told that your body craves what it needs so if your low on protein then it caves it
