By our common evolution and our chemical heritage. These things discovered by science. And "spiritual" is defined as a feeling of oneness with the universe. Science shows us that we are indeed connected to all life on this planet and the universe.

All things are made up of energy. Science can teach you that. Even matter is made up of positrons, neutrons, and electrons at their core.
Thats what connects us all. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it only changes form.

we are part of the whole life system. whole universe is alive, it grows and it gets old. one ceased and one created. it transforms into another form. a species exist because it is required to maintain its balance. life is about balance. there will be always life not neccesarily us humans.
