It means that there is bleeding in large intestine which can be caused by many things (some serious, some not so serious). I would call your vet ASAP.

She could have digested something that is scrapping away at her insides causing some bleeding , this is the most common reason for blood sightings in stool.
However you can't rule out any other of the factors mentioned in answers, unless you have a blood test down on your dog.
If its just spots of blood you can wait a day to see if its just an iratation that will pass, however if its saturated with blood run to the vet.
Make sure she has plenty of water on hand diahrea dehydrates dogs quicker than humans.
If things aren't better by morning definitely take her to the vet.

It can be many different things. My one pup had the same symptoms last week. The vet first checked for Parvo, but then found out it was only an intestinal infection. The vet is your best bet here.

The dog might have eaten something rough...if there is blood for more than 3 days, it's time to call the vet. If she has other symnptoms, like lethargy, vomitting, or just not being her usual self, you'll want to consult the vet sooner.

Blood in the stool sometimes means worms. You might want to take him/her to the vet for a fecal test.

It could mean several things, none of them good, but some worse than others. Take them to the vet. This could be really serious.

She proabably ate something bad , but if there is blood in it, you should take her to the vet, it could be a bladder problem or something along the lines of that.

yes to get her to the vet A.S.A.P. and take a sample with you. it could be worms ,parvo or many things. but that sign is that she is bleeding internally.
