Just ask her like a friend as simple as possible. What will happen if she says no well if you are not asking then its a no already. But remember ask her like a friend.

Well get to know her better soon because valentines day is right around the corner. So make conversations with her, maybe talk to her on the phone, IM or talk to her online, ask questions, and tell her jokes. That would be great to star off then when your ready just ask her. Make her smile mostly and things will go great. If she cant go because of a reason that she might be doing something with her family or something else maybe you should buy her a valetines day gift and give it to her. That would be really sweet.
Take Care.

You approach her in a casual way with a compliment of something you admire about her. Tell her about the church dance and let her know you'd like it if she would go along with you. Let her know there are no strings attached, just an evening out to talk, laugh, visit and dance a little. Be confident and look at her, making eye contact, while you are talking. Wear some good smelling cologne and leave a nice lasting impression!

I agree with all the other peoples comments the worst she can do is say no and if she does let her know in some way you care about her. If she does say no to the valentines day party at your church you can get her a box of chocolates or something little to let her know you were thinking of her. Good luck

Ask her out as a group (say to go bowling or roller skating) first to try to get to know her better. She will most likely say yes if there is more than just you and her going and it doesnt seem like a double date. Do you have any mutual friends together??? If you do that would be perfect because then she would know other people who were there too. If she shows interest in you there then you know that she does like you and feel free to ask her to the dance with you after everyone is starting to go their seperate ways to go home. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

just say something already...the clock is ticking. The worse thing that can happen is that she'll say no. Next time you see hear talk quick and get to know and she'll get to know you then you will feel better asking her, right? What do you have to lose. If she turns out to be a *****, better to know that sooner than later so you can move on.

Think about it this way, if you dont ask, you WILL NOT be taking her. If you ask, you have a 50% chance of going. all she can do is say no, & that wont kill you.
Remember; It's better to regret something you did, than something you didn't do. Just ask her, tell her you really like her & you wnat to get to know her better & Valentines day is the perfect time to do that. Go get her!

Take the risk and if she does say no then keep doing special things that will make her think your sweet then try asking again...also, she will prolly say yes cuz, she doesn't know you to well, and also because, if she talks to you at all she has some kind of an interest just hang in there and ask!
Good luck!

Just ask her. The worst thing that can happen is she'll say no, and I doubt by the way you described her that she'd be mean about saying no in the first place. Obviously she's trying to get to know you a little better which means you've piqued her interest. Girls love guys with balls, so go get her!

C'mon, like what you said, "the clock is ticking!" make your move before other "date hunters" asks the girl for the date...
Go ahead and ask her out, how can you know if she's going to say yes or no if you do not ask? Good luck buddy...

here's the chance for you guys to know eachother better, if she's talking to you that means she likes you whether it be as a friend or in a sexual way. Either way ask her because you can go as just friends. And last but definetly not least, don't be afraid of her saying no, believe me you're gonna get rejected alot in life, it happens to everyone (lord knows i have), it's ok to be nervous just accept it but don't let it control your actions.
