I think people can just show ungratitude period. Especially in the world today. That is what make the bible real because the attitude of people and places still exist as of today. Were people ungrateful back then? Yes. Are most people grateful now? No. But Jesus loved us so much that he didn't care how we would respond, but he gave his life anyway. Thank you Jesus!
The trinity father, son, holyspriit will teach you that the father's temperment is his sons

When we are judged, we will be judged for our transgressions, and our transgressions only. Jesus gave everything he could for the sake of humanity. God has let you live your life and make your decisions. God's hand upon our head will be as gentle as a hand can be. He is our eternal father and will treat you as such. In a world where there are so many wrongs and mishaps, if God's view was bent, the number of people allowed into heaven would be dramatically high. This is not the case. God's view on the world and the people thereof will never falter or change. Just as his son, he will love you and nurture you as if you were a toddler under the arm of a caring mother. I hope that this will aid your questions on the temperance of our father. As for the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus bled from every pore under the weight of all the world's sins. From that point on, there is no one that will ever come to this earth that could do more for the sake of humanity than our Christ did in those last days of his life.

Jesus said that if people had seen him, they had seen his Father meaning that he was so perfect a reflection of the way his Father felt about things and did things, that you could come to actually KNOW the Father by watching and listening to Jesus. I think your concerns are wonderful and that you show a genuine love for God in your question. Keep seeking God's will and doing it!! May he bless all your efforts.

let's start with the last one... Jesus said He who has seen Me has seen the Father... Jesus is the image of the Father... they have the same character and temperment, one is not more merciful than the other
as far as the garden... that is a very very rich subject... it is amazing Jesus stayed very much in control even in the difficult garden, He protected the apostles making sure they were not arrested or killed and Jesus stayed very much 'in control' at the trial and even got a place for His mother to live (with John) as He died

Go to www.ttb.org and go to the daily archives on Luke 22:39. Very good teaching on this subject. The Father loves the Son and whoever belongs to Christ the Father loves.

Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are all one in the same person. We are created in God's image which is why we have a body, mind and spirit. God is the mind, Jesus is the body of God, and the Holy spirit is the spirit of God. Jesus is God made manifest in the flesh.
1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Are you talking to Christians or un believers? Sometimes Christians forget and take God's love and sacrifice for granted also and so many forget where they were when God came into their lives and saved them. We are to be humble, and that is one of the fruits of the Spirit. Like I always say if we just talk the talk but don't walk the walk then no amount of talking is going to ever convince anyone that God is real. These atheists are watching us not listening.

The Father loves us so much that he gave His Son to walk thru all that He did. But now, when we except Jesus, when the Father looks at us He sees his Son.

The Father's temperment is the same as His Son's.
If you follow the verse below, you'll see that the "child-son"
IS
"the Mighty God-everlasting Father."
The Trinity is One God.

I understand what you're saying. God sacrificed His only son for us, and we're basically turning around and spitting in His face. Well, that's free will. Just remember that people can change their ways, though. Remember the story of the prodigal son's return home?
