IS THERE A WAY TO CONNNECT A LAPTOP TO A TV USING S-VIDEO? LIKE S-VIDEO TO THAT CABLE THATS RED WHITE AND YELLOW?

Some laptops have an S-video connection - if so, you can use a standard S-video cable and plug it into the TV. If your TV doesn't have S-video, then you'll need an adapter. (And by the way, the red, white, and yellow cables are called "composite" or "RCA cables", not VGA)

Once you plug in the cable, you'll need to go to your laptop settings and turn on the second output as a TV.

Go to Radio Shack for the adaptors. They got adaptors so you could probably hook into a Russian spy satellite. lol

FYI, the 3 cables are called VGA cables.
