a girl and i, i thought, were going to get together but ended up with other people. i was really depressed a few weeks ago, bc i kept saying the wrong thing to her. and in general, depressed. and said that i needed time away from her, but i wrote a poem recently that i really wanted advice on, so i e-mailed and asked for advice and that if she had any writing, i'd like to read it. she said that she thought that i was going to send her 1 poem and that that would be it and signed her letter "until then, write later, meg" does this mean she does not want to be in contact with me? did i confuse her too much? should i just forget it?

Are you and her with other people now? Do you want to be with her? If you do, you need to talk to her. Just tell her that sometimes what comes out of your mouth isn't what is in your heart. Women normally understand that guys aren't the best at verbally expressing themselves when it comes to romance.

And when and if you DO talk to her, think about what you're going to say before opening your mouth! Keep it simple and honest.

Good luck.
