Wow... do you guys all think alike? My boyfriend says the same thing... Heck, he thinks I'm high maintainance because I want to pay rent on time and keep the lights on. Regarding money, during all the times he was out of work with no income (a lot) I carried all the bills and even though he is working now he will give me something to pay on bills and food for our home but anything extra goes to him for booze, and other habit he has with his friends. When we get broke he accuses ME of spending ALL HIS MONEY. Our past is also checkered with lies he did to me about money so it is tough for me to trust him even though I have forgiven him.
Friendship? Please define. I would love to have my boyfriend's friendship but I'm struggling to get out of the bottle so that evidently leaves very little we have in common. All we seem to do is drink, eat, watch movies, sleep, and fight. We started out with lots of things we said we had in common... things we wanted to do together but none of it has ever happened.
But, I guess have to say, not all women are hard to please. I know I just want a man who is honest, fair, hard working, and not self-centered... looks like I'm gonna be single, huh?

You've met the wrong women. I am probably one of the easiest women to please. I have been in a relationship where money was abundant and it sure didn't keep me warm at night while my ex was out cat n' around......it is important but certainly not my first priority in a man......nor was it then.

Maybe it's just the women YOU are attracted to or that YOU tend to attract since it is obvious that you don't know every woman on the planet.

Hard to please? I'm not hard to please, I don't ask for much. I think friendship, companionship and just communication and intimacy is enough for me. Not ALL women are like that. Some...like myself are satisfied by little things. Money is really not an issue with me either.
