If you're asking about a religion that believes that God just started things and doesn't get involved with human affairs after that, then you're talking about a Deist.

Two things came to mind. Christianity and Deism. So here is a small exert on the definition of both.
Christianity is .A faith based on the belief that Jesus Christ is the son of God, sent to earth to save mankind from the punishment of sin. Other faiths believe that salvation is based on good deeds or keeping certain laws. Christianity is a religion based upon the teachings and miracles of Jesus. Christianity teaches that there is only one God in all existence, that God made the universe, the Earth, and created Adam and Eve. God created man in His image.
Deists typically reject supernatural events (prophecy, miracles) and divine revelation prominent in organized religion, along with holy books and revealed religions that assert the existence of such things. Instead, deists hold that religious beliefs must be founded on human reason and observed features of the natural world, and that these sources reveal the existence of one God or supreme being. The basis of Deism is reason and nature. We see the design found throughout the known universe and this realization brings us to a sound belief in a Designer or God.

That sounds like deism. There are different opinions on it, but it boils down to a no-frills belief in God, with no superstitions, miracles, or mythology. Theism is a broader term. Christianity is theist, but it is definitely not deist.
