what is a sin?

I don't know if it's really a sin or we forbid it for respect to Christ because the Roman soldiers cast lots (gambled ) for Christ's Robe. I have always been taught that it was a sin. Gambling has caused a lot of hard ship in many homes. I have not found in the Bible where it says, it's a sin. If any of you know where it say so, let me know, OK.

It is a sin. My buddy showed me the bible verses that back this up the other day but I don't remember them. What type of gambling do you mean? I see playing slots or or the lottery as gambling but it is arguable if some poker games are really gambling because there is a lot of skill involed that is why there are professional poker and blackjack players.
