this girl i've been talking to and hanging out with lately always brings up that i should get a girlfriend...usually when i tell her im bored...she says find yourself a girl and you wont be bored anymore...but i dont know if she mite be hinting about herself maybe? i like her and i really dont know how she feel's about me because she's still recovering from a long relationship she was in and she tells me that she talk's with her ex about me, "very highly". but most times i try and ask her out she can't do anything...or gives me the excuse "she doesnt have nething to wear"....even though she's usally got time for alot of her other friends. we've been talking for awhile now and i still don't kno what she wants...im preety sure she knows how i feel about her because i always call her just to talk n see what shes doing and flirt as much as i can with her... she tell's me im funny too, and laughs at evry little joke i make... is that a good thing? what should i do? is she even interested ?

ask her who she thinks a good girlfriend would be, bring it up in a subtle way so she says that you should get one and then ask her "who would be good for me?"

Well are you having fun playing these games? If she worries about what she's going to wear to go out with you then she probably is into you. Just try being straightforward--say "Well dear, I've decided a girlfriend is just the thing. I would like to commence formal dating with you! When are you available?" Everybody is so scared of rejection nowadays you all end up torturing eachother. Just be straightforward and if she rejects you it's about her not about you! It's hard but the guys who actually ask girls out in a straightforward way always end up with the best girls! So go for it.

She is trying to get you to spend more time with other people. She thinks you're a good guy, but doesn't want to date you, so she is nicely trying to get you to go after a girl.
Next time she tells you that you should get a girlfriend, ask her if she knows any girls she thinks would be good for you.

ask her to go hang out with you and some of your friends, maybe she's just nervous and is waiting for a better opportunity.
