No. Colorblindness isn't like being farsided or nearsighted, where the correction is about the shape of the eye. It is a genetic condition in the eyes receptors and the brain's reading of the signals. There is no treatment for colorblindness at the present time.

No, people with color blindness lack all ability to see color. There are cones and rods in your eyes that allow you to see. The rods preceive light and the cones preceive color. People with color blindness either lack the cones in their eyes totaly or they malfunction. This is due to a genetic variation. There are three types of cones, one responds to mostly to blue, one to mostly to green, and one to mostly to red. The other colors are split up between them. This is why most color blind people can see sertain colors, most of them only lacking the red and green cones, so they can see shades of blue, yellow, brown, and gray. This is why it is impossible to make glasses for the color blind.
