Well I assume you mean why do so many AMERICANS bag out the Christian faith.
Well, we are not in Calcutta. How many Hindus do you see in the USA?
And the Hindus that are in the USA aren't trying to take over the government to evangelize in the name of Vishnu.
So I guess you could call it defense.

Occasionally, some people question Atheists and other religions too. But mainly Christians are questioned due to the "lack of proof" of a god or something other than that. Or some idiot so called "Christian" keeps saying that we all will go to hell for not believing.

There are other religions that get bagged out as well. Christianity tops the list because there are more of them here telling people they are going to Hell.

I think Atheists have minor crushes on other religions, but save the man crush for Christians and for Jesus Christ. Probably because the truth really hurts, and the thought of making sacrifices is just too close to home.
They absolutely adore new age crap, so that rarely ever gets anything but positive reviews.

Christianity is the biggest religion and has oppressed more people than the other religions combined. It's the natural choice for those who want to make a change by eliminating religious influence in everyday life.

mainly because more Christian frequent here than other religions and it's generally the Fundy Christians spouting off about how much they they think they know about "God", what "God" thinks, what "God" feels, what "God" does and doesn't do and who "God" is gonna toss into his eternal torture chamber. being as that Christians (especially the Fundy variety) are experts on "God" they get a lot of questions directed towards them.

People get on everything. It is just there are more Christians here. That makes it more fun.
