If I make 52K last year, single and claimed zero on my tax during the year, and now I file as 'head of household', how much can I expect to get in return? 2-3K in tax return? Please let me know if you have any idea. Many thanks!

You'll have to fill out your tax return to know that. Not enough information to make any kind of reasonable guess.
