Yes. If you have a physical condition or disease and need medical treatment, it is okay.
Why all these worthless questions?

Whoa, wait a second: Don't equate Viagra with psychotropic medications; they're not even in the same class. Viagra is also used to treat pulmonary hypertension; its ability to help with erectile dysfunction was a serendipitous side-effect. Antidepressants are used to treat known cases of chemical-imbalance clinical depression. The vast majority of people taking antidepressants need them and are helped by them, in spite of what nutcases like Tom Cruise think. Sorry if I seem to be ranting, but some medications are getting an ill-deserved bad reputation.
Since Christians seem to only have sex to procreate, I would assume they wouldn't need drugs to help with erectile dysfunction, since they would see impotence as a judgment from their gods. How's that?
BTW: You've probably all heard of the Viagra-sponsored NASCAR. Would you say it offered stiff competition?

"mind-altering"? I think you meant to say MOOD altering for depression? I mean we're not talking acid trips here are we?
As for Viagra, for goodness sakes, why wouldn't a Christian man be "allowed"?
Honestly, people call Christians idiotic for the questions WE ask!

If you're married, it's okay to use Viagra. The use of anti-depressants depends on the ability of the individual to tolerate them, not on whether or not you're a Christian.

I think male stimulants for Christian men having ED problems is OK (as long as his wife is his partner).
Are the mind altering anti-depressants doctor prescribed? Does the Christian have a clinical need for them? How MIND ALTERING are we talking about here? Need more info on the patient condition and the drug involved.

This might seem silly, but different branches of Christianity believe different things. At this moment, I can not find anything that says it is looked down upon, but I would say it should be prescribed to you.

Christians are allowed to use any medicine that a licensed physician or psychologist prescribes. People who belong to cults act like it's wrong to make use of human agents for medical conditions but that's presumptuous and makes God your servant instead of your master. If He has provided healing by giving mankind wisdom to create drugs that help with a medical condition then it's not up to us to demand that He provide some miraculous cure for our ailments.
Matthew 4:5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple (6) and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, "'He will command his angels concerning you,' and "'On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'" (7) Jesus said to him, "Again it is written, 'You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.'"

Absolutely. Sex is a gift from God, and God created people so that they could gain knowledge in science and medicine. We can create medicines because God made us able to.
Jesus Christ healed sick people when he was on earth. Healing illness is definitly consistent with Christianity.
