Ignore it! Look at the facts and I don't mean to be mean. You are short. And you ar still going to be short for the rest o your life. And of course people will still call you shorty. So the best thing is to just let it fly. It's what makes you YOU. So capitalize on it!

if people r callin u shorty an don like it then jus politely ask them (not infront of everyone) if they could not say that since it hurts ur feelings cuz ur great aunt was like a mother to u growin up an every1 in da family always called her "shorty" an it eats u up inside thinkin u migh just inherit her family passed down liver cancer an dye too an she was like a mom ta u an jus the memory makes u wanna cry!

Don't worry about what people say but one thing you could do is change your outlook on yourself. Don't complain when someone say something that you already say; "lil angel"
Get it in your head that your height does not reflect your person. If people have to call you names when they know you don't like it then it's time to find new people to hang with.

What ever you do don't grow a big attitude. Shorter people who have a complex seem to be extra cocky and arrogant. Its what we call short peoples syndrome. Stay sweet its better than people calling you ugly!

That's not short. I'm almost 30 and only 5' 4" and I'm plenty tall. I see plenty of grown women shorter than me.

Just ignore them and be happy with who you are. I am almost 5'3" and I am grown with three children. I never have trouble finding pants too short, and all the guys I dated while young were always taller than me! :-) Just think positive...next time they call you short..tell them you are perfect and happy with who you are, smile big and just go on.

and im 5'7 .. soooo she`s call the shorty and im the tall girl x_x

my sister is 4'11 and she is 22. she just got married to a guy thats like 220 6'4. dont worry about it. short girls are super cute too. be proud of your shortness. if it really bothers you just tell them to stop but do it in a serious voice and a frown on yoru face.
