I have this girl that I have talked to three times about being friends or more. I like her a whole lot, but I thought we agreed to be friends right now. Well, I saw her a few nights ago. We played footsie under the table like we always seem to. Later, I started mentioning how I am waiting for the Lord to reveal who I am to marry. When he reveals her, I will have no doubts and go forward. She then suggested that I not rush too quickly into marriage. Why did she say this?

Because you shouldn't. You should know who your supposed to marry because you can stand her and love her and spend a lot of time with her without getting sick of her. For example...
You've known a girl and been dating her for way over two years, you know each other so well that you're completely comfortable with each other and trust each other enough that you don't hold any truth back. You also know that if you ask yourself the question "Can I spend the rest of my life with her?" And answer it HONESTLY without hesitation yes, then that would be the person to marry.
However if you rush it then it isn't true love. And you'll just end up in a marriage where you're sick of each other after a couple years.

You've only played footsie with her, and you're talking about the Lord and getting married. You're probably creeping her out. Don't talk about marriage at all until you're at least in the serious dating stage.

she is scared she wants to get to know the person she will be invovled with dont be preachy about this it will turn women away you can ask the lord for help but dont say this it is scary be postive about her feelings on the subject of marriage
