Well, I believe it depends on what caused your mood to go down. If it's the passing of a family member you need to tackle it a different way then let's say your spouse is angry at you.
In general I think going outside and enjoying some fresh air helps. If there are mountain near your area it's good to take long hikes, by yourself and just getting in contact with yourself again.
Go through picture albums or homemade movies and relive good moments in your life, cheerful moments.
Music. Go through the music you like, discover new music, look into uplifting music.
Exercise. I read somewhere exercising produces something in your body that makes you feel good overall. I've seen it work wonders on my mother.
There are many other things you can do, these are just some suggestions that work for me.

I agree, go for a walk and clear your mind. Make a list and write down what makes you happy, make it simple. Read a good book. I dont know of any web sites, but I do know that Yahoo groups have some great ideas about motivation and well being.Try the life coaches group they have awesome advise.

Get outdoors for fresh air and exercise--take a walk. It really helps.
Music, meditation, yoga, etc. are all helpful

Exercise. Exercise will stimulate your body to produce endorphins which have a natural mood lifting affect. Also, think of all those people who have it worse.

Do some aerobics and stretching. Takes only 5-15 minutes, and you will feel GREAT.
