At my sister's wedding, the mother/son dance and father/daughter dance were at the same time, so guests wouldn't get bored just watching other people dance. They selected "In My Life," by The Beatles.
Congratulations on your son's wedding!

My hubby danced to "Have I told you lately that I love you" it wasn't the Rod Stuart version though, and I have no idea who it was by. But ask your DJ, he'll know. One thing that they did at a wedding we just went to was start the dance with just the bride/father, mother/son dances then ask all the mothers and the sons in the crowd to join them. I thought this was really nice, and it made for some great photos!

Wind Beneath my Wings is a good one but Phil Vassar has a new song out "The Woman in My Life." The first time I heard it I thought it would be a great Mother/Son wedding song...Check it out.
