Ontology is in th philosophy section.
Our own consciousness, and that it experiences something, is all that we can be sure of. To even doubbt requires a doubter. Everything else is second hand through that consciousness. If by "me" you mean that bare consciousness, that's how i know.

God made me real - he made me, knew me before I was born, gave me my talents, and consciousness.
Sponges don't think, but they are living creatures. We humans have studied and determined the existence of living sponges. If I were to become comatose tonight; I would be real - non-conscious, but still God's loving little lamb.

Nothing "makes" me real. To be made, is to be invented. I don't think, therefore I am. However as the one I AM said I invent everything.

reality is relative, and perception is everything. perceiving yourself as real makes you real, in only you can perceive it.
