what happens if i dont claim the first job when i file... what happens if i dont file either at all. i made 19,000 last year

Legally, you are required to file. You only file one return; you combine all of your income for the year. You also combine total withholdings. How many jobs you worked is irrelevant.

Why would you file seperate taxes?
You file and claim both incomes on one single tax return.
You may end up getting a refund.
Of course you don't specify if you are married or not.
