i have a gemini digital camera ,it was given too me ,the promblem is when i put the disk in it ask for the serial number,well i don't have it and i can not get any where.the person who gave me the camera does not have the owners manual and the serial number so does anyboby know where to go on the internet to find the serial number or are they all the same.

The serial number for the software installation is usually on the envelope that the disk originally came in.

Did your friend have this software installed on their computer before they gave it to you? Maybe the software serial number (or registration code) is still on their computer. Check it out - probably under HELP menu or PREFERENCES.

If you have an XP computer, try just connecting the camera to it with the USB and power up the camera. There's a chance that XP's scanner & camera wizard will at least upload the pictures from the camera.

There has to be a serial number somewhere on your camera. Look on the bottom, inside the battery compartment, anywhere or everywhere. Good luck.
