I know what you mean. When I was in high school, I kept waiting for my chest size to expand. I am a woman. By the time I was a junior, I figured I had 1 more year until I would be an adult and by that time, I should have the bust size I wanted. When my 18th and 19th and 20th birthdays came and went, and I knew an "acceptable" bust size was out of the question, I had to learn to accept myself as I was. A guy I know from my college days is only 5'4" tall. He is married to a beautiful woman, and has been for over 20 years. She is 5'2". If you met this guy, you would not even think about his height because he projects so much self-confidence that height is not even an issue. He is so self-confident (yet not arrogant) that he is successful in practically everything he tries. He has a great job where he makes 6 figures and employers are always trying to steal him away from his current employer. He has a beautiful wife and two great kids and a very nice house. He is extremely happy and successful. Why? Because he has a positive, can-do attitude, and he doesn't let his height (or lack of) get in the way of anything. Oh - when he was in high school, he was on his school's wrestling team and made quite a name for himself by the way. Girls might gravitate toward the taller guys at first, but when a girl gets to know a guy, if he is nice, has good character, is fun to be around, and treats her well, looks and height will not matter so much. Girls CAN be looks-oriented, just like guys can be - but we females appreciate what is on the inside a lot more than what is on the outside. Be confident and stand tall - because you are tall - on the inside!

Height doesn't matter, I've found girls don't care if you're tall or short or what. Just be you and see how it goes. What's the worst that could happen. Also there's clothes and stuff you can wear, like vertical stripes to make you look taller too. Just don't sweat it, there might be some extra inches coming around too, you're only 17 so hang in there.

People i am too short. i am only 5.5. I am 27 years old. I just deal with it. Most men in the U.S. are not 6' to 6'7". The mean height for a 17 year old male in the United states is 5 feet 9.6 inches.

lol that's not really short. I'm 17 and 5'3" and I've been that height since I was 12. Just remember that females stop growing between 16 and 19 and males usually grow up until they are 20 or 21. Don't worry...

Well you know...people come in all different heights. You may have a little more growing to do. But...that is really not the issue here. A girl six feet tall maybe to tall for you...but there are more girls that are five feet one, two, three, four, five, six and even seven which is your height..so what is wrong with them? Dont think of yourself as to short...it is what is inside that counts and what you have to contribute to a relationship.

Tell God!!! He made you that way and is the only one that can change it. Learn to maximize your self even at 5.7. Heck, I'm only 5'6 and I'm a stud, LOL! It's not the size of the ship, it's the motion of the ocean. You can still rule if you think like a ruler and not a loser. Make the choice and be positive.

5 feet and 7 inches honestly isn't that short, but yoga helps a lot and if you don't have time for a yoga class just stretching every morning and night helps tremendously. It loosens your muscles and not only will you grow but you'll also have a lower chance of getting injured.
