Hey its chris a promise ring is almost a symbol from him to you promiseing that he will be by your side as long as you are willing to be with him. its something you can look at when u feel down and think to yourself someone cares and loves you soooo much. sounds like he is a keeper dont ever let go or u will end up like me my girl left me over somethin stupid and it hurts everyday. you are golden and dont ever forget it . have fun hope this helps

Well, right now I dont think you should be worrying about a serious relationship. You are still young and still need to grow up some. The answer to your question is that the promise ring means he wont leave you for anyone or anything and that he wants to propose to you sometime in the future.
