I am finishing up an associates degree and have been on the pell grant. I am graduating in two months. I now want to return to the same school and get a second associates degree in a different field. Can I still get the pell grant for the second time around? I have already met the max time allowed for the first degree to get financial aid. Does it start over since it is for a different degree?

I believe in order to continue to get a pell grant you need to go for a bachelors.

Good Luck!!!

The Pell Grant is only good for one Associates degree. However, if you continued your education in order to receive a Bachelor's degrree, the pell grant would be there. I have a friend who tried going for another certificate program in a different major, and her Pell Grant got rejected because she had a certificate already.
