stay in school like everyone else is suggesting.. and while youre there.. please learn to spell
if you seriously want to enlist.. the marines will still be there in a year or two.. if youre suicidal like some of the other people have said.. im sure there will be a war going on in a year or two that you can risk your life in and make your parents and family cry
~sorry for being really harsh but its my opinion

As mentioned, the age requirement is the same and yes the Marine Corps is not going anywhere. Upon graduation you'll either join the military, go to college, get a job or be a bum. What order if at all, really doesn't matter. None of them are going anywhere. You need to decide, on your own, when the time comes what is best for you. College may be the right answer, but it isn't always. The 1st semester dropout/failure rate proves that. In retrospect you didn't ask what to do with you life, you asked when. Stay in school and out of trouble. Semper Fi.
P.S. All you cannon fodder/suicide people need to give me your home address so I can come pick up your cars...over 43,000 people die yearly in vehicular accidents, but I guess that's OK since it's not the popular thing to be against.

no you have to be 17 atleast to join the military and if you are 17 you need to have your parents sign with you. here is what i would do if i were you. since you are graduating early you should go and get a career diploma, learn a trade, and then join the Marines in that career field, you could get advanced rank going into boot camp! that is what I did but I am wanting to join the Navy.
Good Luck! :)

Ok kid, I will confess. I am a retired Marine of 24 years. Stay in school until you graduate and wait until you turn 18 to enlist. It's no cake walk and the chances of you staying for 20 years are about one in 3000. I appreciate your devotion but may I suggest a little collge first???

The requirements are the same to get in the reserves.

EDIT: Cristina, do you think you should only join the military when you won't have to do your job or possibly risk your life for your country? We don't love and support the troops for sitting at home, everyone does that.

My suggestion relax.
Enjoy your youth in High School before you piss it away.
Those years you will never get back.
The Corp will still be there when you get out of High School.
Have some fun first.

Work hard in high school - get the best grades you can. After that you can decide and be sure to graduate.
