I agree with the first answer... also, it conditions you to remember best in bed...
You tend to recall the information you studied best when you are in the same situation that you were in while you studied. This is one reason it is recommended to study at a desk under similar conditions as you will be taking the test. For example, if you aren't going to have music playing during your test taking, then you shouldn't listen to music while you are studying.

The problem with studying in bed is for your entire life you have been conditioned to associate a bed with sleeping. Study somewhere else.
